The formation of shape tolerances is necessary to fully integrate process economy and testing conditions, and select economical tolerance values while meeting the functional requirements of the parts. Simultaneously considering the functional requirements, structure, and stiffness of the parts, determine the tolerance values based on the tolerance table, and pay attention to the coordination relationship between the tolerance values.

The shape tolerance of the same component should be less than the positional tolerance, and the shape tolerance of cylindrical parts should be less than the dimensional tolerance. Usually, a 30% size band is selected in the sample stage, a 40% tolerance band is selected in the small batch stage, and can be relaxed to 60% -80% in the large batch stage, depending on the processing difficulty of the workpiece.

The flatness tolerance level needs to be lower than the perpendicularity and parallelism tolerance levels; The roundness tolerance level needs to be lower than its radial runout tolerance level. Effective solutions
